Bangkok Cuisine is a new restaurant that opened just a week or so ago. I ordered a take-out lunch portion of Pad Bai Gra Prow (chicken) with a bowl of their Tom Yum soup. The decor is very nice, modern with stone accents above the counter. Looking through the window into the kitchen, everything looked very clean. The woman who took my order was friendly and willing to help me understand the difference between the "dinner" and "lunch" portions. The food was very good and the Tom Yum soup was unique and very tasty. Beware, I ordered the dish "medium" and it was closer to "hot" in taste (and I'm known for underrating spicy). All in all my experience was positive and I plan on going again. One word of mild caution though. The portion sizes were smaller than I'm used to for oriental takeout, but they weren't so small that I felt cheated. Also, there are only about 3-4 tables (the place is very small) so I would plan for take-out only.

Very happy with my lunch gang keaw warn. Nice heat, great sauce, and the service rocked. Place packed so the word must be out.

This place was awful!!! I had the worst restaurant experience. I went to get lunch and ordered hot and sour soup. The hostess was extremely rude. I was waiting for more than 15 minutes to receive my food and the taste was disgusting! The smell was terrible and even my co-workers didn't want to taste it. Don't ever go here!!! You'll regret it.

I have loved Bangkok Cuisine on Main St. in Rochester, MI and also on 15 Mile Rd, & Dequindre, so when I saw that they were opening a carry out in Auburn Hills, right by my home I was thrilled. So I stopped there and ordered my favorite meal Pra Ram Long Song I was soooo disappointed. First of all I asked for brown rice and they would not substitute. They wanted to charge me an additional side dish of rice of $2.00. I was appalled at the price. So I just took the white rice. When I got it home I was very upset to find that the broccoli was rubbery, the chicken was scant and very thin and dry and it was swimming in watery sauce! Portion size was very scant as well. I did notice that at the Sterling Hts, store it was a smaller portion as well. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I WILL NOT GO BACK. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I could not give NONE!!!!!

Average Pad Thai. Portion was on the smaller side vs. other local Thai places. If you are in the area and want Pad Thai: 1. Thai Fortune 2. Tokyo Sushi 3. Bangkok Cuisine

For take out thai, or a quick lunch - this restaurant may just have the Thai fix you are looking for. We loved the new decor, the cleanliness and welcoming staff made this experience great. I ordered the vegetable curry with chicken, it was good - a little saucy but still good. Came with a large side of rice which was good because my medium spice was more so on the spicy side. My boyfriend ordered the beef pad thai - for take out pad thai, it was pretty good. We both agreed that we've gone to places that have "amazing" pad thai - only to be let down. This Pad Thai is definitely in the "that place has Good pad thai" category. As mentioned in another review, not many tables - so play it by ear. We ate in, the atmosphere was nice, quiet - and they delivered right to our table. Go check it out, the price is right, the food is good... but wooo watch that spice! lol

Been to the Rochester location years ago and it was FAR better. Been to this twice and lacks flavor on everything I order. Not a fan. Smaller portions compared to other Thai joints.

If you're thinking of eating here, go for it. This place was really good. I really like Thai food and I wasn't expecting much from a little place next to a college campus, but they really delivered. I called in my order, they gave me recommendations over the phone since I'd never ordered from here before and offered me a lunch or dinner portion even though it was dinner time. The place is small and clean. I got veggie pad Thai. Decent amount of veggies, baby corn! I really, really like spicy food and the extra spicy really was extra spicy! The portion was very generous and it was really delicious.

I've eaten here twice for lunch. I had the red curry and broccoli plates with chicken. The staff are very friendly and do a good job of getting orders in quickly during lunch. The place has at most 10 seats so it can fill up pretty quick, most people seem to get pick up orders. I can get in and out relatively quickly if there's a seat so I consider this place solidly part of my regular biweekly lunch rotation. The food is relatively simple and straightforward. There's not a lot of complexity so don't go looking for anything mind blowing. The sauces have been a bit sweet so far, I ordered "extra hot" both times and they do a pretty good job of making it actually hot, not the weenie like levels of spiciness I've found in other places. Vegetables are cooked pretty well, chicken maybe a bit overcook, rice is good and comes in generous amounts. Overall I'd recommend this place for a quick lunch.

Grabbed take out cashew chicken on way home from work tonight. Quick drive home and food was still piping hot. I ordered medium spice and am usually pretty good with spicy food but this was hotter than I expected- like nose-running, sweaty forehead hot. It was very delicious though- sauce was right consistency and had a good, rich flavor. The chicken was very good- cooked just right and very lean and tender. Portion size was good and price was right. Will definitely come back.

I love the convenience of carry out Thai food. You can call ahead of time and saves you the patience of waiting. Lunch and dinner portions are adequate, even enough to share with a friend or two. I usually get the medium spiced pad thai. The flavor is good but they could put more color to the meal. The pineapple fried rice on the other hand is strongly flavored with fish sauce and spices with big slices of tomatoes, white onions, scrambled eggs and pineapple chunks. I do not understand why they cut the tomatoes so huge. The meal is very aromatic but I've had better. However, I am open to exploring the menu. The interior for a small carry out restaurant is pretty impressive. I love the minimalist style and the mélange of colors and pattern.

Just went for the first time before a show at Meadowbrook. Food excellent. Very clean inside. Fast service on a Sunday afternoon at 5:15p. We had Curry Noodle, Masaman Curry, Praew Warn, and Pad Almond - everything was great! Ingredients fresh, sauces not oily, spice level as ordered. Wish I lived closer to them :-)

Been here several times no complaint their kow pad is delicious. Not a fan of the pad prik. Love their shrimp chips.

I went here with my sister after a leisurely afternoon of pedicuring. I started with the tom yum soup, which was awesome. I also had the curry noodles with shrimp, medium spice. The noodles were tasty, but my entire dish had six shrimp in it, roughly the size of a quarter. If you're going to give me dinky shrimp, I expect more than six of them if you're going to charge $11. Besides the shrimp deprivation, my only other gripe is that all food is served in styrofoam with plastic utensils, even if you are dining in the restaurant. I would prefer something more substantial (and less hazardous) than sipping scalding hot soup from a polystyrene foam container.

Only one visit but it was enough to keep me as a customer. I ordered a Pad Thai, medium spice. The staff was very friendly and the food came out after 5 minutes. I heard it how they were doing it so no doubt it was done at the moment. The place is very small and seems to be much more a place to take out, but still there are 5 tables and you can get comfy for your lunch. Food is in enough quantity and tastes great. Looking forward to try the masaman curry.

This is a staple in my diet, if I have a choice of where to go I choose Bangkok Cuisine hands down. The pork fried rice and pad thai are my favorites, although I also love a few other things including their spring rolls. If you're getting carry-out, this is the place for it. Orders are ready within 5 minutes of call-in, and there's a drive-thru for easy pickup. If you're eating in it's a tight squeeze with only 4 tables. If you come during the dinner rush it's very likely that all the tables will be filled. Prices are reasonable for Thai food, and they offer a 10% discount if you show your Oakland University student ID. The food is addicting! Would recommend.

AVOID THIS PLACE! The hostess up front is SO RUDE!!! I asked her for a to go box and she ran back so quickly and so I stood up there waiting and she came back and said what else do you need? In the rudest tone. I said a fork, please and she handed it to me then ran back so quickly again. I wouldn't have to stand up there waiting if she didn't run back so quickly. I've never experienced such bad experience. Do not go there, go to the Bangkok in Washington twp or try siy thai in Troy. they are so friendly over there. And the pad ma kher smells nasty from this location but its good at the other Bangkok's.

For the last few months, it seems that they've decided to use cooked and cooled rice for their fried rice dishes. This is a positive change. The overall quality is still somewhat inconsistent and the service can vary a lot, depending on who is working the front.
